Pedro Vaz Tour GuideTour Guide

The best scenario, monuments, company and tour must pair with a professional guide.

My name is Pedro Vaz and I have been working as a professional Tour Guide and Tour Director since 1995 for private guests as well as for the best renowned and prestigious travel agencies; Gate One Travel, Grand Circle Travel, Trafalgar, Gulliver’s, Shore Tours, Abreu, Top Atlântico, Compasso, Aims, Viajes El Corte Inglés, Travelplán, Petrabax, and many others. I studied at the Instituto Superior de Novas Profissões and I am registered as an official guide / interpreter at the AGIC (Associação Portuguesa dos Guias-Intérpretes e Correios de Turismo).

I was born in Lisbon and I have studied, lived and worked here all my life. Lisbon is, actually, one of my passions.

My hobbies and interests are very diverse and include History, Art and Architecture, Languages, Jewish and Muslim Heritage, Photography and of course, Traveling.

I enjoy visiting new places and cultures and I feel very comfortable in any international environment, possessing an innate and natural aptitude for social and public relationships. Working as a Tour Guide or just for pleasure I have spent long periods of time traveling;

Andorra, Antigua, Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Cape Verde, Chile, Colombia, Croatia, Cuba, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, Peru, Portugal, Madeira Islands, Azores Islands, Russia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, United Kingdom, Official BadgeUnited States of America and the Vatican are my travels so far; soon I’ll be updating the list ;)

Besides my mother tongue, I am fluent in English, French and Spanish. I have had a driving license for over 20 years and I’m used to driving any type of car or van up to 9 passengers to take you anywhere you’d like to visit.

Since 2009 I am also a licensed Reflexologist, my second job and passion. So, you may consider the possibility of a relaxing foot massage after a Walking Tour up and down the seven hills of Lisbon :)
